Welcome to my minimalist homepage,
I’m Alexander Pucher, PhD student in Computer Science at the beautiful University of California, Santa Barbara and part of the Distributed Systems group.
About. I earned the Master’s degree (Diplom-Ingenieur) in Computer Science from Vienna University of Technology, working in the Information & Software Engineering group. That year, I also had the chance to join the University of California, San Diego as guest researcher. Please continue the About page if you’re looking for more details.
Research. My research interest is dealing with complexity in distributed systems arising from large scale and heterogeneous environments. Recent project involvements include the versatile openengsb.org framework and the record-setting TritonSort prototype. Please take a look on the Research page to learn more.
